Yay for surprise visits!!

So today was a pretty good day!!  We had a few planned visits & even a surprise visit!  Tina came over and brought lunch which was very yummy (& healthy) then my dad got to drive a little extra out of the way to get a load for his truck here and he got to stay and visit for the evening/next morning.

Julie, Aaron, Samatha & Kelley also came over for a visit in the evening!  It was a great day!!  :)

Yay for sleep!!

We had another great night!!!  Callen went down around 8:30ish...cried around 3:00...I picked him up and he fell right back asleep and didn't get up until 4:45!!  YAY!!!!!

Busy & TIRED!!

It has been a busy & tiring last few days for our little family!  Brian started back to work on Monday.  I am trying to get a routine down for us.  I've been successful with the bedtime routine...bath, lotion, jammies & lately a story since we have a lot of books.

I did get to go get my hair done with Tina yesterday.  Callen was very good the whole time.  He sat in his carrier and giggled most of the time!  

Last night was a good night...Callen woke up one time at 1:45, nursed, went back to sleep until 5:45.  After that he went back to sleep again!  AND that was with him going down originally at 6:30! 

 Today has been kind of crazy though!  Erin came over and spent the morning with us!  That was great!  We also had our new furniture delivered and that looks great in the living room!!

Callen has been very hungry all day long!!  He nursed several times throughout the day and didn't spit up as much as he has been!  Last night freaked me out because he ate and started throwing up so violently, it came out of his nose!  I cried because I knew it didn't feel good and there wasn't really anything I could do about it!  :(

I've been trying to do stuff around the house today but Callen has been wanting to be held more than usual.  He is chilling out right now in his bouncer seat.  :)

He's been up most of the day so maybe he will sleep good again!!  We shall see!!  :)

Someone is ONE MONTH old today!!! :)

Today is October 4th, which means Callen is already a MONTH OLD!!  Time has flown by!!  :(  It seems like yesterday I was at work experiencing what I did not know were contractions at the time!  This has been the best month ever!  I would not trade it for the world!  I have not had as much sleep as I normally get but I wouldn't change a thing about the last month!  (Except maybe the postpartum!  That I could do without!)

Someone is 4 weeks old today!!!!!!!!

Callen is 4 weeks old today!!  Which is kinda weird since Saturday he is technically one month old.  But he was born 4 Thursdays ago!!  :)

We also went to see Jenny Allen today for my appointment.  I was really excited because Callen got to wear his "I <3 Jenny" onesie.  I took him up there in his onesie and we also gave Ms. Allen the "Thank You" gift we got for her.  Jenny thought his onesie was so cute!  She also loved her travel coffee mug that said "World's Best Midwife" and the coffee that we got to go with it.  She said I must have known that she is the queen of coffee!  

I also got a few pictures of Callen with Jenny.  :)  All of this made the actual appointment better since Jenny told me I still have very bad postpartum and she recommends some counseling sessions next.

Brian, Callen & I then went up to Navy Federal to take care of the insurance thing.  After that we drove around and tried to enjoy the afternoon.  Now we are at home and will probably be getting ready for bed soon.  :)  

TV Night with Nana!!!
